June 11 marks ONE YEAR until the FIFA World Cup 2026™! Visit our social media pages and website for exciting announcements and to join the celebration. In the evening, join us at Kauffman Stadium as a KC2026 leader throws out the ceremonial first pitch before the Kansas City Royals take on the New York Yankees. Sporting KC vs. FC Dallas
Enjoy a summer day watching Kansas City’s Major League Soccer Team face off against another FIFA World Cup 26™ Host City. Visit members of the KC2026 team located on the stadium concourse to learn more about getting involved. Click here to purchase tickets to the match.
June 16
One year to Kansas City’s first FIFA World Cup 26™ match!
Kansas City will host six matches, including a quarterfinal, from June 16 to July 11, 2026. The full tournament runs from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
June 20
KC Current vs. Angel City FC

Visit CPKC Stadium, the first purpose-built stadium for a women’s professional sports team, and cheer on the Kansas City Current as they take on Angel City FC. KC2026 representatives will be on the concourse to hand out KC2026 swag and provide more about getting involved. Click here to purchase tickets to the match.

June 22
Kansas City Kickoff Community Event
We’ll see you on June 22 at the Kansas City Kickoff! This free, family-friendly event at Aspiria Campus in Overland Park, Kansas, will feature interactive activities, entertainment, food, local vendors, games and opportunities to learn more about the FIFA World Cup 26™ Kansas City. Join us as we bring together the entire region to celebrate our region’s moment on the global stage!
