Official FIFA World Cup 26™ Kansas City Sonic ID

In partnership with KC2026, Kansas City-based artist Tech N9ne has created a one-of-a-kind anthem for the FIFA World Cup 26™. As the producer and vocal artist behind the track, Tech N9ne is the voice of the FIFA World Cup 26™ Kansas City Sonic ID, which will be used online, at in-person events throughout the build-up to the tournament, in stadium, at the FIFA Fan Festival and more. 

The Official FIFA World Cup 26™ Sonic IDs are more than just an audio signifier; they embody the spirit and pride of each of the 16 Host Cities. Each Sonic ID incorporates the FIFA World Cup 26™ iconic sound, but Kansas City’s version stands out with the inclusion of lyrics — a testament to Tech N9ne’s unparalleled artistry and innovation.  

Behind the Track 

The inspiration for the Sonic ID remix originated from Tech N9ne’s many years of making powerful anthems for home teams in Kansas City. In the track, he embodies a celebration of diversity, creativity and the unifying power of sport. Tech N9ne worked with Strange Music producer HU$H on creating a track that captured a “big anthem house vibe” with brass instrumentals and exciting beats.
