KC2026 Announces Limited Number of Host City Supporter Packages

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (October 11, 2024) – After signing a Host City Rights Agreement with FIFA for the FIFA World Cup 26™, KC2026 can now offer marketing assets, tickets and hospitality amenities through a limited number of Host City Supporter packages. This is the first time FIFA has allowed Host Cities to sell local sponsorships for the FIFA World Cup™, unlocking a new, key funding mechanism for organizing committees like KC2026.

“This is an unprecedented way for companies in our region to associate their brands with the most-watched competition in the world. Soccer is the world’s most-popular sport and, as the Soccer Capital of America™, we are excited for companies to leverage Kansas City’s unique FIFA World Cup™ Host City mark throughout the Midwest,” says Pam Kramer, KC2026 CEO. “This is also a tremendous opportunity to demonstrate the unified, regional support for our efforts to welcome the world.”

Each Host City is able to sell up to 10 Host City Supporter packages. Assets include use of the Host City Supporter logo, option to activate at FIFA Fan Festival™, and tickets and hospitality offerings for matches and other exclusive events, along with inclusion in Host City marketing assets. Host City Supporters will have the option to include a suite within their packages and will choose those suites prior to the general public.

In addition to the 10 Host City Supporters, KC2026 can partner with an unlimited number of Host City Champions. Host City Champion benefits include tickets and hospitality, as well as the option to purchase and select a suite before the general public. While Host City Champions will receive name recognition on the KC2026 website and at other KC2026 events, only Host City Supporters will be able to use KC2026’s Host Committee Supporter logo for marketing and promotional purposes.

“Our Host City Supporters and Champions are critical to our ability to maximize the opportunity presented by the FIFA World Cup 26™ for our region,” says KC2026 Board of Directors President Karen Daniel. “The funding we generate through these efforts will allow us to create programs to showcase the region on a global stage and create sustained and long-term impact in our communities.”

Integrity 9, a Kansas City-based company known for its expertise in sports sponsorships, has partnered with KC2026 to lead sales outreach for the Host City Supporter packages. Organizations interested in becoming a Host City Supporter can contact Wes Engram for pricing and additional details. Integrity 9 is the only official sponsorship sales agent for KC2026.
