OFFICIAL RULES

KC KICKOFF EXPERIENCE

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

Eligibility:

Participants must be a resident of Missouri or Kansas and at least 18 years of age at the time of participation. KC Kickoff Experience (“Experience”) is void outside of Missouri and Kansas, or where prohibited or restricted by law.

This Experience is sponsored by KC2026 (“Sponsor”). All employees, officers, directors and agents and their immediate families or any members of their households, regardless of relationship, of Sponsor or any advertising agency or other company involved with the design, production, execution or distribution of this Experience are not eligible to participate in the Experience or to win any prizes. You understand that you are providing your information to KC2026. By participating, you agree to allow Sponsor to use your information for advertising, marketing, and other purposes.

Any Experience entries received from an ineligible participant will be disqualified. By participating in this Experience, participants accept and agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final on all matters. Sponsor reserves the right to modify the rules of the Experience in any way at any time, subject to state or federal law.

Experience Period:

The Experience begins on May 29, 2025 at 12:01 a.m. and ends on June 12, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. (“Experience Period”). All entries must be received and recorded by Sponsor during the Experience Period to be eligible.

How To Enter:

You can enter the Experience by visiting kansascityfwc26.com/kc-kickoff-experience/, and filling out and submitting the free online form to sign up for KC2026 and Kansas City Sports Commission newsletters, which will require you to provide a telephone number and email address. If you have already signed up for KC2026 and Kansas City Sports Commission newsletters, you may still obtain one entry by filling out and submitting this free form. All entries must be received and recorded by Sponsor during the Experience Period to be eligible. There is a limit of one entry per person. Duplicate entries will be rejected.

Sponsor is not responsible for lost, misdirected, late, unsent, incomplete, illegible or unintelligible entries or for inaccurate entry information, whether caused by the participant or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Experience, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the transmittal of any entry or the processing of any function on the participant’s computer system. Participant must notify Sponsor of any changed contact information within the Experience Period to remain eligible to win based on entry information. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Experience; to be acting in violation of these rules; or to be acting with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or similar response methods will void all such entries submitted by such methods.

Prizes and Selection of Winner:

Expereince participants will enter for a chance to win the following prize package:

  • VIP access for two at the KC Kickoff community event
  • Official FIFA World Cup 26™ Kansas City Host City Poster signed by artist Jadie Arnett (ARV of Priceless)
  • Kansas City FIFA World Cup 26™ commemorative scarf, T-shirt, hat, luggage tag and stickers (ARV of $115)
  • An invitation for two to attend a future Kansas City Current match during the 2025 season
    that includes a parking pass. (ARV of $200)
  • An invitation for two to attend a future Sporting Kansas City match during the 2025 season that includes a parking pass (ARV of $250)

The chances of winning depend on the number of entries received. No transfer, assignment, cash redemption or substitution of any prize is permitted, except by Sponsor due to prize availability and then with a prize of equal or greater value.

One winner will be selected to win the prize package in a random drawing by June 16, 2025. Sponsor will notify the potential winner individually by email and telephone. The potential winner must respond to confirm the winner’s identity and acceptance of these Official Rules, and provide all requested information, which may include but is not limited to the winner’s age, phone number and email address, via email within 48 hours of the notification of win. Winning a prize in this Experience is subject to the potential winner’s identification and explicit acceptance of these Official Rules. The winner may be required to satisfactorily complete an affidavit of eligibility showing compliance with these Official Rules, and sign a liability and publicity release, allowing Sponsor to use his or her information for advertising or other purposes. Failure to complete these forms may result in forfeiture of the prize. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will select an alternate potential winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries.

Winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state or provincial, and local taxes and any expenses associated with any prizes. The Internal Revenue Service requires Form 1099-MISC to be issued and filed for any winner who received a prize/award if the annual aggregate is at least $600 or more. In the event the approximate retail value is deemed to exceed the Internal Revenue Service requirement, the winner must complete and submit a W-9 form to receive the prize. The winner is responsible for any income tax liability and should consult his/her tax advisor for the proper tax treatment of this income on his/her tax return.

Modifications:

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, terminate, or suspend this Experience should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt or impair the administration, security or fairness of the Experience. Sponsor is not responsible for any human or technological error that may occur in the processing of the Experience nor are they responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, communications line failure, theft or destruction of, unauthorized access to, delay in operation, transmission, or distribution of, or alteration of entries, whether caused by the sender, any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Experience, or otherwise.

Release:

By entering the Experience, participants release Sponsor Kansas City Current, Sporting Kansas City and each of its affiliated companies, directors, officers, employees, representatives, partners and agents from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Experience or with the acceptance, possession or use of any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light).

Privacy Policy

By entering, a participant consents to Sponsor using its personal data in conjunction with the Sponsor’s privacy policy and data protection rules (“Privacy Policy”), links to which are https://kansascityfwc26.com/privacy-policy/. This Privacy Policy is incorporated herein by reference.

Identification of Winners and Official Rules:
