The FIFA World Cup™ is coming to Kansas City in the summer of 2026! Our region will welcome fans, teams and media from across the globe for six soccer matches at Arrowhead Stadium (referred to as Kansas City Stadium for the FIFA World Cup 26™ matches) and regional activities from June to July 2026.

We want to make this once-in-a-lifetime experience safe and seamless for visitors and residents – especially those living and working near activity sites. This community hub is here to help you stay informed as we prepare for the world’s largest sporting competition, together.

If you live or work near Arrowhead, we want your input to help us create a plan that minimizes inconveniences while providing safe and seamless transportation for each of the six match days between June 16 and July 11, 2026.

Match Days

Mark your calendars. These are the six FIFA World Cup 26™ match days to be held at Arrowhead Stadium. Match times will be announced during the Final Draw in early December 2025.

What to Expect at Arrowhead Stadium on Match Days

This isn’t your typical KC game day – it will be unlike anything we’ve hosted before. Here are some differences you’ll notice:

  • Limited Stadium Parking: Several of the parking lots will be used by FIFA for hospitality, security, and event operations.
  • Transportation Options: Fans will arrive at the stadium via park-and-ride bus service, rideshare, or designated park-and-walk routes. For many visitors, this will be their first time at the stadium.
