The FIFA World Cup™ is coming to Kansas City in the summer of 2026! Our region will welcome fans, teams and media from across the globe for six soccer matches at Arrowhead Stadium (referred to as Kansas City Stadium for the FIFA World Cup 26™ matches) and regional activities from June to July 2026.
We want to make this once-in-a-lifetime experience safe and seamless for visitors and residents – especially those living and working near activity sites.
This community hub is here to help you stay informed as we prepare for the world’s largest sporting competition, together.

What to Expect
Arrowhead Stadium on Match Days
This isn’t your typical KC game day – it will be unlike anything we’ve hosted before. Here are some differences you’ll notice:
- Limited Stadium Parking: Several of the parking lots will be used by FIFA for hospitality, security and event operations.
- Transportation Options: Fans will arrive at the stadium via park-and-ride bus service, rideshare or designated park-and-walk routes. For many visitors, this will be their first time at the stadium.
FIFA Fan Festival™
- FIFA Fan Festival™ will be a central hub of activity, hosted on the south lawn of the National WWI Museum and Memorial from June 11 through July 13, 2026.
- The site will be a regional transit hub with direct bus service to and from Arrowhead Stadium on the six match days as well as direct service to sites across the KC region on both match and non-match days.
- It will be open and free (ticketed) to the public, offering the best in soccer, music, food and entertainment outside of the stadium.
- Specific dates and times will be determined in early 2026.

KC2026 is the nonprofit leading the planning and strategy for delivering the Host City duties for FIFA World Cup 26™. KC2026 will plan, construct and implement all aspects of Kansas City’s largest sports and fan engagement competition in the region’s history.
