The FIFA World Cup 26™ is coming to the Soccer Capital of America™! We want your help creating a poster to commemorate the occasion and help showcase our city to visitors, viewers and football afficionados across the globe.
The poster should be an expression of our shared love of sports, but also capture how we work together, celebrate victories and unite as the heart of the nation. Here’s what you need to know before you start creating.
SO MUCH MORE THAN A POSTER
FIFA World Cup 26™ will be played across 16 host cities in North America – each of which gets to create an official poster design celebrating their involvement in this global event.
This is a remarkable opportunity to showcase who we are to a global audience through our own lens … but it’s also your chance to have the eyes of the world on your artwork.
OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS
The contest is open to Missouri and Kansas artists over the age of 18. Entries must be received through the artist portal below by October 26. Please note that you will need to create an account to enter.
Submissions consist of a portfolio with a maximum of three samples of previous work, as well as one poster design sketch and a written overview of your creative vision.
OUR FINALISTS
Five artists will be chosen as finalists and receive a cash prize of $1,000 each. If chosen, you will be provided FIFA assets and asked to submit a final design along with the story behind your artwork.
CROWNING A CHAMPION
As the winning artist, you will receive an additional $10,000 and have your artwork unveiled in 2025!
