ConnectKC26 Operational Update

To help fans get to Kansas City Stadium on match day and support expected high demand, ConnectKC26 is adjusting service on Saturday, June 27.

The 3 Trails Transit Center Region Direct location will not operate. Buses from this route will be reassigned to help get to the stadium as efficiently as possible.

All other Region Direct routes will operate as scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Region Direct passes are not site-specific and may be used from any operating Region Direct location.

ConnectKC26 Operational Update

We are continuing to monitor the ongoing adverse weather, and the Region Direct, Stadium Direct and Airport Direct services. Temporary pauses in service may occur throughout the day as storms move through.

If you are a primary passholder and purchased Premium Garden or Legacy Lounge passes from KC2026, you will receive an email from KC2026 within 24 hours.

FIFA Fan Festival™ Evacuation Due to Weather

Due to forecasted adverse weather conditions, FIFA Fan Festival™ is being cleared as a precaution and will be closed until further notice. We advise fans not to travel to FIFA Fan Festival™ as a result. Fans should follow instructions from event staff on site.

All ConnectKC26 services are running. This includes Region Direct, Stadium Direct and Airport Direct.

The safety of the public is our primary concern, and we will provide further updates.

ConnectKC26 Service Update for June 25

To help fans get to Kansas City Stadium on match day and support expected high demand, ConnectKC26 is adjusting service on Thursday, June 25.

The following Region Direct locations will not be operational:

• Independence Square
• KC Zoo/Starlight Theatre
• Worlds of Fun
• 3 Trails Transit Center

Buses from these routes will be reassigned to Stadium Direct service from FIFA Fan Festival™ to increase capacity and move fans to the match as efficiently as possible.

All other Region Direct routes will operate as scheduled from 10 a.m. to midnight. Region Direct passes are not site-specific and may be used from any operating Region Direct location.

Fans using Stadium Direct are encouraged to arrive during the departure window selected when purchasing their pass.

We encourage fans to purchase transportation passes in advance and allow extra travel time. Thank you for your flexibility as we adjust operations to support increased demand.

FIFA Fan Festival™ Delayed Opening Hours

Due to forecasted weather conditions, FIFA Fan Festival™  hours on Sunday, June 21, 2026, have been changed. Gates are now scheduled to open at 1 p.m. and close at 9 p.m

Due to anticipated weather conditions, FIFA Fan Festival™ will be closing early at 5 pm and not reopen today. The safety of the public, staff, volunteers and entertainers remains our top priority. Please follow instructions from on-site staff. ConnectKC26 bus service will continue to operate unless weather conditions make it unsafe to operate.
